4th International Meeting within the framework of the MECOS RNET initiative The acquisition of professional skills regarding the enhancement of social entrepreneurship is becoming increasingly important, especially for marginalized and excluded groups, such as people with disabilities. In order to combat inequality in access to work and employment, the partners of the European program MECOS RNET - Mini-Ecosystems Regional Networks met in Poland to combine their knowledge and prepare innovative support programs. During the project meeting, which took place in Sucha Beskidzka on May 11-12, 2023, the achievements so far were discussed, including the online seminar program titled "Entrepreneurship for All" prepared by the partners. This pioneering digital tool will be available internationally and will allow for an increase in the level of knowledge of individuals from key target groups for the project: young people aged 18-35, individuals over 50 years old, people with disabilities, and people from rural areas. Thanks to the online seminar program, representatives of the target groups will be able to acquire the necessary skills to start self-employment and effectively develop social entrepreneurship. The rapid progress and impressive results are the outcome of collaboration between highly specialized institutions and organizations from 5 countries, including: the National Association of Municipal Officials in Bulgaria (Bulgaria), Kyiv Business School (Ukraine), College of Tourism and Ecology (Poland), Include - Interdisciplinary Network for Special and Intercultural Education (Greece), and CEIPES - International Center for the Promotion of Education and Development (Italy). During the meeting in Sucha Beskidzka, experts planned further activities, including work related to the launch of a specialized platform for the International Center for Education and Counseling. The tool will continue to operate even after the end of the project's lifecycle and will assist in supporting the mini-ecosystems created during its implementation. Details about the activities and progress will be discussed in October at the 5th partner session in Bulgaria.
On May 11th and 12th, 2023, the fourth partner meeting took place in Poland with the hosting institution being the College of Tourism and Ecology. Representatives from all partners attended the meeting. The agenda included a review of the activities accomplished thus far, discussion on current initiatives, and a conversation regarding the upcoming establishment of an online international consulting center.
