Objectives
The objectives of the project are the following:
- Supporting sustainable development and growth through the creation of mini entrepreneurial ecosystems in territorial communities
- Fostering of self-employment and entrepreneurial skills, as well as developing digital literacy of the local communities’ population, seen as essential instruments to territorial and sustainable growth
- Empowering vulnerable groups such as Youth (aged 18-35) and Silver Age (aged over 50), especially in rural areas
- Empowering local communities
- Promoting an eco-conscious vision of local development
- Promoting digital literacy among adults of local communities
Activities
- Extensive research (survey, need analysis, etc.) on local communities’ particular needs;
- Provision of a smart learning environment;
- High quality digital learning opportunities for the involved target groups;
- Support to the creation and development of mini ecosystems among local communities
Results
- A Business Education for Entrepreneurs training course
- An Entrepreneurship for All Massive Online Open Course (MOOC)
- An International Training and Consulting Centre specialized platform
